Dog Friendly Backyard Design
The client needed a backyard that had enough hard surfaces for her two dogs. She didn't need convincing that a lawn was probably not going to hold up under frequent wear and tear, but she still wanted a garden with veggies, flowers, and herbs (ya know, like all good gardens...living things!)
The result was a rectilinear design that efficiently uses a small space for a host of uses: edibles and ornamentals, a patio for gathering, and lots of dog-chilling. All parties satisfied here!
